Academic honesty is a very important value at Bagh Grammar School. It means that we expect all of our students to do their own work and to be truthful in all academic matters. We believe that it is important for students to earn their achievements honestly and through their own efforts, and we want to reward those who do so. We also believe that academic honesty is essential for creating a safe and supportive learning environment where everyone can feel included and respected.

At Bagh Grammar School, we expect all of our students to follow the rules of academic honesty and to hold themselves and their classmates accountable for their actions. We believe that cheating, plagiarism, and other forms of academic dishonesty are serious violations of our school’s values and principles. If a student is caught breaking the rules of academic honesty, they may face consequences such as receiving a failing grade or further disciplinary action.

Cheating, in particular, is a very serious offense. It means that a student has used dishonest or deceptive means to gain an unfair advantage in their academic work. This could include things like copying someone else’s homework, looking at another student’s paper during an exam, or using electronic devices to access information that is not allowed. Providing information to others, such as giving answers to a classmate during an exam, is also considered cheating.

Plagiarism is another form of academic dishonesty that we take very seriously. It means that a student has used someone else’s work, ideas, or words without giving proper credit. This could include things like copying and pasting information from a website or another source without citing it or using someone else’s words or ideas without quotation marks or proper attribution. We expect all of our students to give credit where credit is due and to use proper citation and attribution in their academic work.
